At last the Government is confronting the foreclosure problem that has been plagued our country in the last few years. The government will offer a comprehensive plan to distress home owners that will enable them to modify their existing mortgages.

This will help home owners keep their homes, this will allow banks to repair their reputation in aiding distress home owners. It will also help real estate prices go up in value. Many banks feel the loan modification programs are the future for saving home owners from bank foreclosures.
